Communicating Ltd has in the past developed fully customized solutions tailor-made to suit client needs, often significantly exceeding agreed target performance. The years spent in the market have allowed us to develop a good knowledge of every market segment and have a clear understanding of both client needs and client business.

Communicating Ltd is also currently involved in FPGA architecture which will allow for our client execution speeds to improve by more than ten-fold. Fully customized trading solutions implemented on a hardware level allow the complete bypass of the software level. However, due to the requirement of full intellectual property disclosure (as the model needs to be programmed at the hardware level), the timeframes and costs involved, we believe our software-based framework still remains a more appropriate solution for most clients.

Nevertheless, we recognize that FPGA remains the most probable next step in low latency solution development. As such, we are capable of offering bespoke FPGA implementation to suit specific client requirements. In this way a client is able to choose the degree of IP disclosure. In the future we aim to implement a full exchange, incorporating our high performance matching engine (Aquarius 2.0), embedded on a hardware device so as to allow for NO down time ever, order matching in nanoseconds and increase the throughput to new all time highs. In addition, we aim to implement full trading models on a hardware level which would push the execution time in tick to wire terms into nano or possibly even picoseconds territory.

We are able and willing to tackle any problems facing our clients so as to provide the most efficient and expedient solution that will likely surpass market requirements. We aim to improve our clients’ performance in relative terms to their competitors but, more importantly we strive to create solutions which will give our clients relevance in the time ahead by writing the leanest code and pushing hardware performance to new peaks without sacrificing reliability and resilience.
