Communicating Ltd was founded in 1996 as a privately owned electronic trading technology software research and development company. Originally established as a successful network architecture and design company, Communicating realised that many of the trading floor problems could not be solved through hardware alone and, with the emerging electronic markets, developed into an innovative and original ISV.

Best known for its ability to develop radical, front-to-back cutting edge technologies, a significant step ahead of anything else in the marketplace, Communicating was responsible for the Tirex internet telephone derivatives exchange and first ever wireless trading application (1999) the original Aquarius Matching Engine (2000), the revolutionary Aquarius Black Box Price Discovery (2001), pre-trade Remote Risk Management Front End and finally Aquarius Matching Engine 2.0 (2011), among others.

As our knowledge of market requirements in terms of technology improved, both opportunities and inefficiencies became apparent in the electronic marketplace. In the year 2000 Communicating Ltd began trading operations. This took the form of high frequency arbitrage trading which allowed us to leverage our technology to the maximum while minimising risk as much as possible. Our trading model still generates a steady income with nearly 0% risk by exploiting irregularities and mispricing in the markets at lightning speeds.

Despite the addition of trading to our business sphere, we remain a software development company specializing in low latency high throughput solutions for both the execution and order matching side of the business.
